Born in raised in Alpine, Utah. Grew up on a “farm”, a 100-year old family orchard where I spent summers working with my grandpa and dad. I loved that experience and learned how to work hard. Went on a mission for my church where I spent two years in Russia and Kazakhstan teaching and discussing the gospel of Jesus Christ with everyone we met. I have met so many amazing people there and still try to keep up my Russian with a few “video pen pals”. I met my incredible wife while at university at BYU, and then we moved to California to work for Bloomreach. We had 3 kids, all girls, born at Stanford hospital, and I’ve been working in tech every since. We moved to Colorado in July 2021 to be closer to family. I love soccer, playing the piano, camping/hiking, and spending time with the family. 

I run a 15-person product marketing team at Bloomreach. I’ve been really privileged to work for some amazing leaders and be part of a company that was $20 million in revenue and 140 employees when I joined and is now $150 million+ and almost 1,000 people. I am constantly learning.

I started writing this blog mostly because I have more thoughts than I do pictures. I read Twitter and other people’s Linkedin and blog posts much more often than I look at Instagram, although Tiktok is pretty hilarious :0. So, I just wanted a place to write my thoughts down and share ideas. I think we have something to learn from everyone.
